This match held with the exception of Benayoun and Chamakh and possibly Frimpong, nobody in that Arsenal side played like they were desperate to break into the first-team. Squillaci, Djourou, Fabianski and Arshavin can all resume their occupation of the bench for the forseeable future.

The result show Arsenal lost 3-1 to Olympiacos, though the Greek side still crashed out of the Champions League as Marseille overcame Borussia Dortmund with a couple of late goals in the other game in Group F.
